Merging\seeing multiple Calendar data
President of company has a private Calendar and a Shared mailbox calendar that a group of users add appointments too. President does not want to have to look at both his private Calendar and shared Calendar in order to see what is going on. Is there a way that he can see all of the appointments in both Calendars in one Calendar(preferably his private one?). Coudl theusers using the shared calendar ivnvite him as a recipeint in order so he would have those appoinments in his calendar. Is there a better way to do this using Resource mailbox? Please help.

Does the side by side view or overlay view not an option? Click your calendar menu bar, open the shared calendar, then right click the shared calendar you can do side by side or overlay view.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

For 2003 you can view side by side but I don't think it can do overlay. View calendars side-by-side or overlaid http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/view-calendars-side-by-side-or-overlaid-HA001230157.aspxJames Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Could the users using the shared calendar invite him as a recipient in order so he would have those appointments in his calendar. Is there a better way to do this using Resource mailbox? Please help You will have to create a user account named the same as the resource and then create a mailbox for this virtual user. Now you can logon as the resource and configure the free-/busy configuration settings within Outlook 2003. The steps in detail are as follows: 1.Create a new user named the same as the resource you want to publish. 2.Logon as this virtual user resource. 3.Configure the settings for Free-/Busy to: a. Automatically accept new bookings if free time is available b. Automatically decline bookings if there are already bookings 4.If needed, grant the appropriate users access to this new resource by choosing the corresponding security level. 5.Logoff. 6.Logon as user and test everythingto make sure it is working properly Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
